@solene I'm courious, is this going both ways? So is there a mic in as well?

Is it a big difference to a standard thinkpad sound?

I actually have good headphones, but I've never used them with something that's not a thinkpad or a phone.

This whole homeoffice thing is not for me. Too many distractions. And once I really try to focus, the cat is coming around and demands cuddles.

Hey there, I'm Jess!

I'm mainly a traditional artist who dabbles in digital art. I love watercolour and coloured pencils but I'll use pretty much any art supply because new things are fun.

I also dabble in comic art and hope to get back to it properly someday!

While not arting I mostly play video games. You'll see a lot of ESO fanart here because it's my main MMO!

A watercolour and coloured pencil picture of a serene looking person with long brown hair. Their face is partially obscured by a sunflower, with more in the background.

A watercolour piece of a mysterious looking woman with dark eyes and long red hair, holding a glass orb containing a small plant. Her face is partially obscured by long red hair, and golden vines drape down in front of her.

A digital art piece in yellow, pink and purple of a young woman with white hair, yellow eyes and a yellow scarf, surrounded by white and yellow flowers and leaves.

A greyscale picture of a woman with long dark hair and a fur collar. She wears light leather armour and an enigmatic smile as she looks at the viewer. Her hands rest on the hilt of a large sword. The light of the moon behind her seems to glow oddly from her eyes.

Oh Theo, I may hang this into my office...

"As an OpenBSD developer, you should be able to judge things like this.
You just need to be cynical and it falls into place quickly."

Is there a reason that every hipster ncurses software needs dozens of colors in the default configuration?

I mean, have you every tried to read dark blue text on a black background?

Scripting honk is actually fun. I call my little tool honkcli now. It can read and post honks. That's easy to wire together from what @tedu already provided in the honk/toys directory. Replying is something I have to figure out. I'm sure there is an ID could show and use with ./honkcli -r <id> -t <text>. I hope I'm not starting a project here. I really have no time for that...

@tek Where does "big"-data start? I've recently seen a showcase(!) for one of our big data cloud products where it was about realtime counting of visitors in a sports stadium (max 30k people).

I was dying inside as this is a job for a raspberry pi und not for a multi server cloud deplyoment for $$$$$.

@solene I've taken over the idea of using a Makefile for drist automation. In your blog post, you're using "drist $*" in the Makefile. This prevents parallel runs with "-j3". Changing this to "drist $@" works as you described.

@sh

Thanks for pointing out the right direction. Believe the space issue has been resolved. Let me know if you still see anything weird.

Added add a link to your site! Have a good one!
